ABOUT THE PICKLING CONTEST

  • 2025 CATEGORIES:
    • Dill Pickles
    • Sweet Pickles
    • Youth under 18 (open to all Categories)
    • Pickled Fruit
    • Pickled Root Vegetables
    • Pickled Mixed Vegetables
    • Pickled Vegetables – Single
  • 2026 Entry Form Coming Soon, also available day of event.
  • Entries must be submitted by 11:00 am
  • Please submit 2 jars for each category entered.
  • Jars must be unopened with a proper seal.
  • Wax or broken seals will not be judged.
  • Judging is blind.
  • Contestants may enter as many categories as they wish.
  • Scoring is 1-10 points for appearance, flavor, quality and texture. Total 40 points.
  • Award Ceremony at 2:00 PM
  • Prizes awarded 1st, 2nd, in each category
  • Best in Show award is the cumulative score of an entrants top two scoring entries. You must enter at least two different categories to win Best in Show.
  • We are unable to include fermented, meat, or egg entries.
